About

Greg grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in a family open to new experiences and exploring the world. His mother lived and worked abroad in the late 1950s, teaching in Saudi Arabia and subsequently traveling through Asia on her way back home. This was practically unheard of for single women at the time. His father was also well-traveled, serving overseas in the military. For as long as he can remember, his parents took him and his sister—both adopted—to travel to Jamaica, Europe, Asia, and beyond.

He studied abroad during his time at the University of Richmond and completed several projects outside of the United States during the completion of his MBA program at Rollins College. After starting his career at the General Electric Company, he joined The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida. In his early days at Disney, he oversaw international recruiting for the company. This experience brought him worldwide to recruit cast members for Disney theme parks and the Disney Cruise Line. His first proper global work experience was at Disneyland Paris. He subsequently served in senior human resources roles for Disney in Hong Kong and Shanghai, returning to Hong Kong to work for Hasbro as the head of human resources for Asia Pacific.

Greg joined LVMH-Moët Hennessy as the regional head of human resources for Asia Pacific in 2019. He assumed the additional scope of the first Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Moët Hennessy. After relocating to Paris in 2022, he took on the aforementioned role at Moët Hennessy, strategizing and implementing company-wide measures to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.

Morley played a leading role in the team that brought the Gay Games to fruition, the world’s largest quadrennial LGBTQ+ sports and culture event. The expansion into Hong Kong was a massive milestone in the Games’ nearly 40-year history.

Above all else, he’s passionate about the development of strong talent, and helping others achieve more than what they think is possible. He’s also unwaveringly committed to inclusion as a way of working, and a way of living. To put these passions into action, he wrote to chronicle lessons learned living and working abroad for the past 20 years. He’s excited to share his vision with readers and friends alike.

Today, he lives with his husband, Shawn, in the heart of Paris, France after 17 years of living in Hong Kong and Shanghai. They’re grateful to call the city home.
